Most Popular Tourist Attractions in Nusa Penida

  • Kelingking Beach
This is the most popular tourist spot in Nusa Penida – you’ve probably seen photos of it on Instagram! With fantastic views from above to the beach and cliffs shaped like hands (or like dinosaurs, depending on your imagination!), this place is very popular among tourists who love hunting for Instagrammable photos. Some stairs will take you down to the beach at the bottom of the cliff, but be prepared to spend a lot of energy because the descent here is very steep, and there are many stairs. Wear shoes because the stairs here are natural and have a base of soil, bamboo, and rocks!
  • Angel’s Billabong & Broken Beach
Angel’s Billabong and Broken Beach, just 100 meters apart, are must-visit spots on Nusa Penida. Angel’s Billabong is a natural pool among coral rocks with crystal-clear blue water, perfect for swimming during low tide. However, be cautious of the sharp coral and cliff edges. Broken Beach, while inaccessible, is renowned for its striking cliffside hole, offering a unique view.
  • Crystal Bay
Crystal Bay is the relatively most uncomplicated tourist spot in Nusa Penida. Apart from the well-paved road to get there, it is also the closest to the Nusa Penida Bali pier. This beach is also fun to visit because it is relatively clean, and the sand is soft. If you book a snorkeling tour package via Klook, you can also snorkel here. As the name suggests, the seawater in Crystal Bay is relatively straightforward, making it suitable for snorkeling.
  • Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach is one of the beaches in the eastern part of Nusa Penida, Bali. Like Kelingking Beach, it has an extraordinarily beautiful view from a height! You also have to go down the stairs on the side of the cliff to get to the beach, and the beach sand is soft and pleasant for enjoying the sea. Make sure to hunt for Instagrammable photos from above or on the beach!
  • Atuh Beach
Atuh Beach is not far from Diamond Beach and gives a slightly different view. There is a small “stone island” in front of the beach, which forms a unique background and is characteristic of this beach. Make sure to come to Atuh Beach at high tide. At low tide, the water can drop so far that you can see the many coral rocks.
  • Manta Point
is a location where Manta Rays or Manta Rays swim not far from Nusa Penida Island. Here, you can swim with the most prominent type of stingray in the world! You might even meet the unique and mysterious Mola Mola fish if you’re lucky! This fish is unique to Bali and Nusa Penida because it can be found relatively often in the sea around Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan, including at Manta Point.
